Important. Your 1232. Captain of TEAN reports pirates boarded ship at Hoihow apparently intending to take her to Fan-lo-kong. On entering Bias Bay from west- ward H.M.S.Somme was sighted off Bate Island. Ship was anchored as soon as possible about 1100 2 miles 045 degrees from TEYI Point and pirates landed on sandy beach south of BOLD BLUFF about 1115 in two ships boats taking two deck Officers and boats crews as hostages. Somme reached TEAN about 1135. Both Officers are now safe. Further details will be communicated shortly.
